    Our Story

PurposeFit Recruiting was born from a deep belief in the power of people and culture.

From Corporate to Classroom to Consulting

I began my career in the corporate world, working within a global medical diagnostics organization. There, I gained firsthand insight into how medical and pharmaceutical companies operate and how essential strong internal culture is to building trust, long-term partnerships, and meaningful relationships with customers.

I saw how the culture within a company's "walls" directly influenced performance, collaboration, and external success everywhere within the organization.

Later, I transitioned into education, spending years in the school system alongside incredibly talented teachers who worked long hours with little recognition. Despite late nights, challenges, and constant demands, some teams thrived while others struggled.

"What made us different wasn't experience or tenure—it was culture. We truly knew one another. We supported each other beyond the school day... That sense of connection made even the toughest days manageable and meaningful."

Fast forward a few years, and those lessons have stayed with me. Once a third-grade teacher, always a mom—and always someone who understands people. I've also watched my husband lead a team of sales representatives for over a decade. His team has remained one of the strongest in the company, with zero turnover during his years as a manager. The reason, once again, is culture.

When people feel aligned, valued, and supported, they stay—and they succeed.

    Dana Butera

"Culture is not a 'nice to have.' It is the foundation of every productive and successful business."
